R W Davis and Son Ltd have, for many years, specialised in inboard marine diesel engines. Whether it be the supply and fitting of a modern high speed diesel or the total rebuild of a slow running 1930’s engine we will be able to help. We have a vast experience of traditional engines and always have a large amount of hard to find parts for Kelvin, Lister JP and National, etc. Our fabrication and machine shops are usually able to repair or manufacture replacements for obsolete parts.
Kelvin
We are well known for the restoration and supply of the Kelvin K and J series diesels and always have engines in stock for sale complete and running or for DIY completion. We carry thousands of Kelvin spares and offer tuning, repair and advice to owners of these engines
Installation
Many engine problems we come across are caused by poor installation whether it be misalignment, inadequate configuration etc. We can cure all of these problems and are happy to advise on correct procedure.
